The TICA (This Is City Attractions) group is a Dutch based company that develops high-end, stand-alone attractions – mostly located in city centers – to interactively tell and sell the story of a city, state or country.

This is Holland
Our first investment project is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and is named “This is Holland”. The ‘This is Holland’ ride focuses on how water is the element that made The Netherlands to the small, unique country they are.
The educational value and quality of the experience is reinforced and underlined by our strong strategic partnership with UNESCO World Heritage, since the world heritage sites are a key part of the experience.
Flying like a bird, you get an overview of how the Netherlands was created. You learn about the people who weren’t deterred by all the water. Using mounds, dikes, windmills and polders, they succeeded in reclaiming land from the sea, creating this extraordinary country below sea level.
Wonderful experience
Wanted to show my students what Holland looks like and they got one of the best experiences ever! What a great attraction this is, a must see for all who visit Amsterdam as tourist. I am not going to give you more details, you really have to find it for yourself what it is like to virtually fly over Holland!
“Informative and fun for all!”
Definitely worth it! This 5D experience is easy to get to via a free ferry from behind the Amsterdam Central Station, then a short walk! We were a group of grandparents, parents and grandchildren (aged 9 and 12) and we all loved it! There’s a short preshow & video in English (and probably other languages), which was gave information about the history of The Netherlands in a humorous presentation, then prior to the ride. It’s a soaring adventure/fact-filled video experience with wind, more soaring, smells, splashes, and more soaring. Lots of fun! A word of caution of you trend to get dizzy or have inner ear issues this might not be for you!

Fabulous way for all ages to learn about and fly over Holland. Our threesome visiting from Canada loved it so much we did it a second time!

“Absolutely AWESOME!”
On our way up to the Lookout the Sales lady suggested we also try the Flight Experience next door. It sounded like a good idea so on the way out we went there. The introductory videos we a bit lame but the actual flight experience was absolutely AWESOME. If there is just one thing you do while in Amsterdam, this is it. Enjoy!
